Applicant Privacy Policy

As part of any recruitment process, Quantics Consulting Ltd collects and processes personal data related to job applicants. This policy aims to ensure a level of transparency and understanding compliant with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). We take your privacy seriously and have internal controls that ensure your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed or accessed except for the fulfillment of the recruitment process.

What do we collect?

As part of your application Quantics collects a range of information about you which may be considered personal data. This includes:

  • Contact details such as Name, Address, Email Address, Phone/mobile number
  • Details of your qualifications, skills, experience and employment history
  • Information about your current job, including salary and entitlements
  • Health information which may be necessary for the organization to provide reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process
  • Settlement information, such as your entitlement to work in the UK

Quantics will collect this information directly from you through a CV/Resume, application form, identity documents, and direct communication; Quantics may also view and record information about you which is publicly available, such as via a LinkedIn profile. Finally, Quantics will collect information during interviews and other forms of assessment.

Why do we process your data?

In order for Quantics to manage the recruitment process, assess and confirm candidate suitability and enter into contracts for any advertised role, they need the information described above.

Quantics believe that their data processing is in your legitimate and vital interests as a job seeker. In some cases, it is also necessary that they process this data to perform mandatory checks to fulfil their legal obligations. Failure to provide the requested information may result in Quantics inability to consider your application.

Access and Retention

During the recruitment process your information may be shared internally with members of the Quantics HR and management teams as necessary for the completion of the recruitment process. Unless successful, your information will not be shared with 3rd parties. In the event your application is unsuccessful your information will be erased within one month of the end of the recruitment. In rare cases, Quantics may retain applicant information for future recruitment; candidates consent will be sought and verified in these instances.

Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling.

Automated individual decision-making is a decision made by automated means without any human involvement. Quantics does not engage in automated decision making and your data will not be used in this manner.
