Only one Data Map is active at any one time. If edited, the old version is stored in the version control system and can be recalled at any time by clicking on Method version history in the Development Room and selecting the required version.
When saving your DM by selecting Save version, a pop up will appear.
This prompts you to type notes for the saved updates which can be manually typed or generated by selecting Generate Notes.
Click Save.
Selecting a previous version as the working version
Click on Method version history subpage
Select the version required, which will be displayed on screen by hovering over and click Open this version. It will also show the current version now.
This makes it the current working version in designing your DM.
This can now be used as a working copy or edited and saved as a new Complete version.
