Responsibilities:

The role is primarily to complete programming activities to support our clinical trials clients but will also include data preparation and analysis of clinical and other biomathematical data with medium to high complexity. Duties will include the creation of datasets, tables, listings and figures according to project specifications and industry standards.

You will use and develop your programming skills in a data driven environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Development and documentation of programs used in the production of computer generated outputs for clinical study reports, registration and submission documents, plus any other document used to present clinical trials data, including specification and delivery of integrated databases, outputs and response to regulatory questions; commercialisation and reimbursements
  • Development of standard methodology to improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness

Essential Requirements

 

You are focused on solving challenging problems through collaboration and partnerships. You are, or aspire to be, an expert in your field, and know the best results are achieved by utilising everyone’s strengths.  You have:

  • Experience programming in SAS including writing SAS macros
  • Experience of programming tables, listings and figures output
  • Ability to manipulate input data to produce analysis datasets
  • A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Life Sciences or similar area
  • Great attention to detail

 

Desirable

  • Experience with clinical trial data
  • CDISC standards knowledge is advantageous
  • A statistical background
  • R programming

We are currently searching for a Senior Statistician/Project Manager to join our growing, dynamic and international team. Responsibilities:

You will lead projects to provide high quality statistical support to our clients. Your technical work will be challenging and varied but will include:

  • Working directly with our clients to provide clear statistical guidance for the design of pre-clinical and clinical trials
  • Developing statistical analysis plan for pharmaceutical and medical device trials
  • Assay development and validation plans for biologics
  • Coordinating / contributing to the production of tables, figures and listings and analysis reports
  • Designing and developing network meta analyses for health technology assessment

You will need to:

  • Ensuring that all statistical output is produced to the highest standard and in accordance with all relevant SOPs and regulatory standards
  • Actively engage in knowledge and best practice sharing with colleagues

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong statistical skills enabling provision of statistical advice across a broad range of statistical applications including Bayesian statistics.
  • MSc or PhD with statistical emphasis, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex statistical issues clearly to non-statisticians.
  • Good knowledge of and experience with SAS and/or R. Experience with BUGS/JAGS/Stan would also be helpful.
  • Strong organisational, internal/external liaison and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and build client relations.
  • An awareness and understanding of working in a regulated environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

It would be desirable to have:

  • Experience in HTA.
  • Experience with ADaM, STDM datasets for regulatory submission.

We are looking for an ambitious and personable biotechnician with 2+ years’ technical sales experience to support our growth plans.

Qualifications and background

The ideal candidate will have worked in a laboratory environment but must also have “technical sales” or “products sales” experience into the Lifesciences sector.  They will also need to demonstrate:

  • Technical knowledge (with a strong bioassay, bioanalytics or bioscience focus)
  • A track record of achieving sales goals and generating new business internationally
  • Ability to set strategic sales goals and create quarterly sales plans
  • Exceptional communication skills (with customers and colleagues)
  • Presentation skills (online and face to face) and success communicating at all levels with customers
  • Negotiation skills
  • An established relevant network and proven networking skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long term, high trust relationships
  • Ability to feedback to the organisation on strategic plans and product development
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a wider commercial team
  • Some working knowledge of SoftMax Pro or PLA software would be an advantage
